The author of the video estimates that about 30 people a day use it to escape to Romania, based on the significant amount of waste left behind.
It certainly looks like it concerning how the rocks and the dirt look. Probably the crossing is done at night with a GPS when its easier to escape the patrols. Or, if there are few patrols in the area, even at day. If you have good orientation skills and if the forest is not so thick, you can even cross on non market areas. Its harder but it can be done even if you are not familiarised with the area. Most likely 99% of the crossings are done via known mountain roads that look more or less like this one.
