Did you every fail?

What did you learn from it?

I watched my friend Gio’s GPC video yesterday and he was talking about the benefit of failure…

This got me thinking…

I am an old man in years…hopefully, I believe I am still young at heart…and in my life…I have failed many times or I did not succeed to the level that I wanted…

I farmed…over the years I guess I ended up in the black more than the red…but, one time we had to sell a ranch to clear the debt at the bank…

My brother and I operated an ag based business where we sprayed vineyards and orchards…managed farm property for others and rented land to farm…over the years we made a living, but there was a lot of ups and downs and our business basically just broke even.

In addition over the years, I tried other things but I was too busy put my heart into it.

My last gig before retiring was teaching school at a juvenile hall…during that time we leased the land we owned…I made more money teaching than in any other thing I did.

As I was approaching retirement…I was concerned about not being active…

I got an email giving away the 30 Minute Workday…I read and this was part of the Home Business Academy…I bought the products…I started learning and following the leaders…

Three years later…I made some sales…I met people…I started being at the masterminds…I attended the last Freedom Fest…

A prayer had been answered…

We had a challenge last year to workout, work our business and learn something everyday to reach some goals…Sam Simmons reached out to me to be accountability partners…over the course of the year, we have become dear friends…

A prayer had been answered…

One of the owners of the Home Business Academy, Paul Hutchings, has started the Good Parts Challenge…so, I am giving this a try…

I have enjoyed learning some of the good parts about Paul, Kristi, Marion, Manasse, Chase, Bobbi, Claudia, Danny and Gio.

Hope to meet others in our community.

So to circle back…even though I have failed so many times and I am still trying to succeed in my new endeavors…I have been blessed in my failures…I don’t look at them as failures so much as learning experiences that have propelled me through life and blessed me so much.

I am learning and marketing in the Home Business Academy…I am working in another business that is in the health area and I have published some coloring books…so I believe my failures have brought me to this beautiful place in my life.
