Scot Marciel, the principal deputy assistant secretary of state for Bureau of East Asian & Pacific Affairs, and Jeremy Konyndyk, foreign disaster assistance office director at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) discuss how American individuals can contact family members in the Phillipines, provide aid to citizens there, what USAID is doing to reduce the risk of human trafficking of displaced children, and the response of China to this natural disaster.
