Old School Columbia River Sailing Circa 1970's

Sailing on the Columbia River in the 70's was a family affair for the Christensen family! My dad Duane and uncle Jim sailed in the first Oregon Offshore sailing race....here is some scratchy old footage found recently on a family reel. The Cal 2024 Culoco was named after Jim's three children: Curt, Lori & Cori. Bo Knabb's infamous 6 metre Trouble is briefly seen in the video.
