How to make instagram account private?

To make your Instagram account private, follow these steps:

Open the Instagram app and go to your profile.

Tap the three horizontal lines in the top right corner.

Select "Settings" at the bottom of the menu.

Scroll down to "Privacy" and tap it.

Toggle on the "Private Account" option.

Once you have enabled private mode, your posts will only be visible to your approved followers, and anyone who wants to follow you will need to send you a follow request that you can approve or deny.
