Before Ben Affleck would take home multiple Oscars and Golden Globes for his work as a writer, producer and director.
Before Ben would date Gwenyth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez & marry Jennifer Garner.
Before Ben would find himself on tabloid covers for his vices including gambling, nanny hanging, strange tattoos and his battle with the beer bulge.
BEFORE becoming BFF’s with Matt Damon.
BEFORE he would star in The Town, Armegeddon, Daredevil, Pearl Harbour, Mall Rats & one of the worst rated movie’s of all time:

Ben Affleck was born in Berkley California At the age of two his family moved to Massachusetts. Growing up around his father’s theater friends, Ben was surrounded by acting for most of his formative years. At age eight he met a ten-year-old Matt Damon, after their mom’s had set them up. Adorable! He spent his early teens traveling the country after starring in The Voyage of Mimi, a series produced by PBS for grade school science classes.

After high school, he lost focus on acting and attended the university of Vermont for Spanish, but dropped out after breaking his hip and his heart.

He then moved across the country to LA to study Middle Eastern Affairs at Occidental (Ox-i-dental) College. But being that close to Hollywood brought back old feelings and Ben dropped out in pursuit of becoming an actor once again. He landed bit parts in School Ties Dazed and Confused and Buffy The Vampire Slayer,

In 1995 Ben met a young director named Kevin Smith on the set of his new movie Mallrats. Kevin immediately loved Ben but could only give him a smaller part in the movie because Ben was busy.

You see Ben was flying back and forth from Minnesota to LA because him and his friend Matt Damon had written a movie that was going in to production. You may have heard of it, a little film called Good Will Hunting.
