Parsimonious Pipe #103—Pipe by Lee Bulldog and Ooey Gooey Butter Cake

St. Louis Ooey Gooey Butter Cake (simplified)

Batter: Mix 1 yellow cake mix, 1/2c softened butter, 2 eggs. Press into greased and floured 9x13 pan and make 1/4" lip.

Filling: Beat 3/4 box powdered sugar (3-4c), 8oz softened cream cheese, 2 eggs, 1t vanilla, 1/4t salt. Pour over batter.

Bake @350F 35-40 minutes. Top with sifted powdered sugar when cool.
