Adam Dahlberg had a rough childhood. He was adopted after Child Protection Services took him and his sister away from his biological parents. His sister was constantly in and out of mental health facilities. If that was not bad enough, his mother became addicted to painkillers and tried to take her own life several times. However, at the root of this story is how Adam Dahlberg not only used YouTube to cope with his situation but how one person can overcome difficulties within their lives by staying optimistic and never losing hope.

Adam Dahlberg was born in Washington on January 17, 1993. It is no exaggeration when people say that he had a rough childhood. When he was still an infant, Child Protective Services took him and his sister away from his biological parents because they were abusive and unfit for caring for their own children. Adam has stated in personal vlogs that he loves his adopted family and credits them with raising him into the person he has become.
