Roslyn Ross was introduced to Ayn Rand's novels by the actress Cheryl Ladd as a teenager. She is the daughter of hippies who went to a boarding school on an academic scholarship. She was successful there and moved on to Wesleyan College. She discusses her experiences of going to school with spoiled brats. A mother of three, she also discusses raising children and having a family, in spite of what she was told by her parents and Ayn Rand. Finally, she discusses having a farm and life as an expat.
