AFTER Elvis's sudden death would make front page news around the world and result in thousands flooding Memphis Tennesse to mourn the passing of a king.

In fact Memphis Tennessee, in particular the Graceland Mansion where Elvis is buried is a tourist destination that attracts well over half a million visitors each and every year. The intrigue & appeal of Elvis Presley continues to stand the test of time even as we approach the 40th anniversary of his passing. There are many a man who have dedicated their lives to impersonating the King, others simply dress as Elvis on a daily basis, I remember meeting the king at a garage sale as a kid. In recent years Remixes of his work have risen to the top of the charts and there many a conspiracy that the King is still alive today. Elvis may have left the building, but his legacy lives on.

What's going on guys my name is Michael McCrudden documenting the legacy left behind by 'The King of Rock & Roll' here for you on AFTER They Were DEAD.

This is a brand new series on this channel I have been meaning to get started for some time. Here we will tackle conspiracies like if TuPack or even Hitler are still alive today. Some say Walt Disney is frozen. There are others like Marilyn Monroe and Bob Marley who changed the world and thier industry - we will discuss all that here on AFTER They Were DEAD – as always, be sure to let me know who you want me to document next?

Elvis Presley's rise to national attention in 1956 transformed the global landscape of what is and was popular music and popular culture.

He was the catalyst for the cultural revolution of rock and roll, with him being the first white man of rock his success brought in a new acceptance and appreciation of black culture and he was loved and admired the world over.
