She was born Emilia Isabelle Euphemia Rose Clarke. She was introduced to acting and theater at a young age thanks to her father who worked as a sound engineer for different theatrical productions. Her passion for acting and drama was triggered at an early age and she eventually ended up in one of London’s best drama schools. After she got out she would star on some tv shows and commercials but her breakout role came from an audition that she only had 24 hours to prepare for. After joining the Game of Thrones cast the role has not only highlighted her skill as an actress but has propelled her to top of popular culture.

Hey Everyone, I'm Azzy and welcome to Before they were famous, chronicling the life of Emilia Clarke Before her Fame.

Emilia Clarke was born in London, England, on October 26, 1986. She grew up in the beautiful town of Buckinghamshire in the South of England. Her father was a sound engineer and her mother worked as a business woman. At an early age, Emilia was taken to a production of Show Boat, a show her father had worked on. Emilia recalled sitting there in awe and defining it as the moment she had became interested in acting.
