Suspect leads Oklahoma City police on high-speed pursuit, foot chase

A suspect led Oklahoma City police on a high-speed pursuit and then a foot chase near the woods.

However, the suspect didn’t get far. The department shared body camera video and dash camera video of the chase that occurred on March 7 near Northwest 63rd Street and Broadway Avenue.

KOCO 5 crews were on the ground as the pursuit unfolded. The master sergeant chased the driver, quickly calling for K-9s and drones to make sure the suspect didn’t get away.

Through technology, authorities were able to get him into custody. The suspect had active felony warrants out of Oklahoma County.

Authorities also booked the suspect on a few extra charges from the pursuit. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the incident.
