The Word of The Lord is Powerful

Pastor's text was Psalm 19:7. He had some interesting illustrations about "Praying Indians" in the American colonies. This was our 28th Sunday to move our regular location Sunday service to a local nursing home. We had an attendance of 14.
We will be doing this until further notice. It is a nursing home within walking distance of our church location--not difficult for our neighbors who walk everywhere. Melody Baptist Church is located on the West Side of Connersville to give the walking poor and ex-cons a church where they will feel welcome, and receive the spiritual discipleship they need to succeed at a second chance in life. Jesus Christ offers everyone a second chance. It is a small church plant operating on a small budget. The church hasn't money to give the poor--only Jesus.
