Speed skaters from Lethbridge proved they are some of the fastest in the country.

Members of the Lethbridge Speed Skating Association competed in the Western Canadian Youth Short Track Speed Skating Championships with several skaters receiving medals.

Lethbridge Speed Skating executive, Greg Ogilvie, says the young athletes did quite well.

With this final competition the Lethbridge Speed Skating Association has officially wrapped up their season.
