Dancing Ribbons

I originally started this piece back on September 18th. I felt so prompted to begin it that day. and as I began painting it I had no idea what it was going to be. but in time it was made clear that this was a glimpse of heaven afar off. and for those who have faced their mortality, this is what they see. the land in the forefront of the painting gives me the impression in my heart, that they have survived. yet, they will never forget what they were faced with. rest assured, heaven is real.
