'We have to save our country': Trump address at Mar-a-Lago home after New York arrest

Former US President Donald Trump says they have to “save our country” and accused the Democrats of spying on his campaign and conducting an “illegal and unconstitutional raid” on his Mar-a-Lago home.

“We have to save our country,” Mr Trump said at a media conference in Mar-A-Lago.

“I never thought anything like this could happen in America … from the beginning, the Democrats spied on my campaign.

“They attacked me with an onslaught of fraudulent investigations, Russia, Russia, Russia, Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine, impeachment hoax number one, impeachment hoax number two … The illegal and unconstitutional raid on Mar-a-Lago, right here.”
