Not Woke: My Tech Company Loves God and America (ft. Wendy Kinney)

We’ve all seen it: Companies that swap out their social media profiles with rainbow flags. Once rock-solid American brands whose CEOs top priority seems to be virtue signaling and bowing to the politically correct cause of the day. They even add in “preferred pronouns” after signing off with his or her name.

In this episode of “It’s Not About Us,” Elaine Beck’s guest is Wendy Kinney, a longtime friend and CEO of Revere Payments — and she runs a very different kind of tech company.

General principles for her payment processing company are that the people who work at Revere Payments “love God, love America” and will not kowtow to “the world of woke-ism.”

“We work for the same boss, don’t we?” Elaine Beck asks Kinney.

Kinney’s response? “Jesus is the chairman of the board.”

Kinney takes pride in being able to serve American businesses no matter if they’re small and “taking payments on smartphones” or “the largest company.”
