Daughters of S.C. Social Conservative Leader Speak Out

Veteran Palmetto political operative Dave Wilson, the leader of South Carolina’s most prominent social conservative advocacy group the Palmetto Family Council, resigned unexpectedly in early March – less than two weeks before his group was scheduled to host a major national event ahead of the Palmetto State’s pivotal ‘First in the South’ 2024 presidential primary.

Wilson's daughters, who presented evidence of an alleged affair between their father and a subordinate to Palmetto Family Council board members, spoke with FITSNews in an effort to explain why they publicized the matter and what they'd like to see change.
