Sec. Blinken says meetings between US and Taiwan are “nothing new”

Speaking at a press briefing Wednesday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken says meetings between Taiwanese and American government officials are “nothing new” and have been going on for years. Sec. Blinken says Beijing should not use these meetings as an excuse to “rachet up tensions” or “further push at changing the status quo.”
