This is what CONSISTENCY, ACTION and great LEADERSHIP look like when it comes to school safety.

On last week’s episode of Unleashed, Max Schachter shared the wholesale changes they’ve made in the state of Florida to ALL K-12 public schools. These changes were the result of FIVE YEARS of the MSD School Safety Committee meeting and offering recommendations. All of this can be replicated and modeled in other states.

- Armed School Safety Officer on EVERY K-12 campus (4,000 public schools)
- Guardians (non-officer/school personnel with concealed carry, rigorous training by Sheriff’s office)
- Threat Assessment teams in every school
- Panic Apps in every school
- Anonymous Threat Reporting System (we have this here in CO)
- School Safety Dashboard (parents, schools, legislators, and law enforcement can see incidents of violence/drugs inside K-12 public schools)
- Watch my introduction video to hear more about the policy.

He talks about all of this and more during our interview which I’ve clipped for convenience, now live on my YouTube and Rumble. Make sure to check out the dashboard plus all of the amazing work Max is doing for school safety at safeschoolsforalex.org.
