First release this year “Sailing composed by Cristopher Cross.
This song is one of my old-time favorites since my childhood.
I think the song is very well composed and performed specially at the time. Sonically a very high established song at the time. Amazing how this song still holds up after more than 4 decades. In honor of Mr. Cross, I wanted to make a cover of this song.
I kept the song as original as I possibly could. The length and bpm of the song is almost identical except for the arrangement, the arrangement was done by ®Mac Including all voices and instruments. “Sailing was recorded in 2021/2022.
It was previewed as a Demo for a short period of time.
Now I’m releasing it officially in its fullest glory.
What can I say about the song other than I hope I have done the song justice?
Some will swear by the original and that is fully understandable however sonically this version is a whole lot better than the original, what you might expect after more than 4 decades of music recording technology.
Long story short I hope you enjoy this version of Sailing by Cristopher Cross.
