Clip 40 - If America Falls, There's No Where Left To Run

In our interview with Lucas Kerr, he brought up a point that I've thought about many times before, if we see America going downhill and have the foresight to predict what troubles lie ahead, where in the world can we go to escape what's happening?
This is a pretty rational question for anyone trying to avoid destruction, #famine, #war... It's a question I imagine many throughout the millennia asked themselves as they saw things acorn them start to get weird and uncomfortable. I would say it's almost a natural and common sense question at some point for everyone.
Being #Romanian, I can tell you, my parents, and thousands of other Romanians, asked themselves this exact same question when #communism took over in our country. Most people stayed put because the consequences if you were caught trying to flee the country were death. However many tried escaping. Some made it, some didn't...
My parents fled and crossed the boarder into Hungary under gunfire from the Romanian side. It wasn't a matter of being kept out of other countries, it was our own country willing to kill you to keep you in. After taking refuge in a concentration camp in Hungary for months, they were able to apply for refugee visas and come to America, where they have lived and flourished for nearly 40 years now.
This has been the same story for millions of people who #immigrate to the US. There's is a reason everyone escaping other countries wants to come here! We are still by far the best place to live in the world in terms of freedoms and opportunities. But at the same time, we see where this country is headed, and a lot of people are afraid for their future freedoms and even their safety. So the question persists, where can we go? Everyone else is in the world is looking to #America as the escape haven, but where do Americans escape to?
The answer unfortunately is nowhere.... There's nowhere left to run... The evil we see spreading in our country is spreading globally. There isn't a single country untouched by the #zeitgeist of this age, and I think America will be one of the last to be pushed completely over the edge because of our ability to self defend and our supposed fighting spirit. But fall we will never the less. It'll just be a slow role into submission. A systematic dismantling of our character and rebellious spirit. In the end, we too will roll over and fall in line because we'll just want to feed our families.
There's nowhere left to run...
