District attorney outlines charges against Donald Trump

Manhattan’s district attorney, Alvin Bragg, confirmed that Donald Trump faces 34 felony counts of falsifying business records ‘with intent to defraud and intent to conceal another crime’.
At a press conference after Trump’s arraignment, Bragg asserted that the scheme to pay hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels to suppress the story of her alleged affair with the former president ran afoul of multiple laws. He argued his office was obligated to pursue the case against Trump regardless of the former president’s reputation and resources.
