Satellite imagery captures tornadic storms moving across Midwest US

Timelapse satellite imagery shows tornadic and severe storms racing across midwestern US on Tuesday, April 4, according to the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA). Another round of thunderstorms hit the same area that had been affected by deadly storms over the weekend. The National Weather Service (NWS) reported more than a dozen possible tornadoes in Illinois and Iowa on Tuesday, including one near Pleasantville, in central Iowa. Severe storms were possible for parts of Illinois, Indiana and Iowa on Wednesday, the NWS said.
