Clip 18 - Is The Tree Of Life A Real Thing?

The tree of life has been called many things throughout different cultures and eras. It's possible that the Hebrew concept of the tree of life is the first of all such concepts.

In the Bible the tree of life is mentioned multiple times. Interestingly enough, the tree is present at the beginning in the garden of Eden found in the book of Genesis, and it's also present at the end, in the book of Revelation. However in the Book of Revelation, after all the end time prophecy is fulfilled and God wipes out all of existence and creates a New Heaven and New Earth, there we read about the New Jerusalem, God's house (the Cube Rev. 21) depending from heaven to earth and inside of the Cube you'll find the tree of life again.

Both in Genesis and in Revelation, the purpose of the tree is to impart eternal life to the ones who eat of it. But, is there really such thing as a physical biological tree who's fruits have the ability to keep a human being alive forever? Is that something that can actually exist on this planet and in this dimension? Or, is the tree of life a metaphor for some kind of advanced medication or alien / supernatural technology which an keep humans alive indefinitely?
