Touched by Prayer- Joel Yount

Jesus said to his disciples that we need to come to God like little children. What exactly was Jesus trying to convey in that statement? He wanted his disciples to see the Father with innocence, purity, trust, faith, and unconditional love. That is the beauty of the lens of children it is those attributes that are all born with.
It’s the hurts of this world that steal our innocence, the perversion of the world values that stain our purity, the lies of the enemy that break our trust, and the worries of the world that replace faith. The unconditional love that the Father so freely gives has been diluted down through those wounds that we don’t believe we are loved.
There is a mighty move from God happening all over. It is new eyes that will help many to see like a child again. This refreshing child-like faith is going to shift the church back to the heart of the Father.
My guest Joel Yount believes that Christian faith goes beyond Sunday mornings at church; rather, faith lives deep within our hearts and souls as we face every day of the week of our own lives.
As Joel travels far and wide to spread the gospel, he looks for the best in people and is committed to helping them discover how they can grow and experience the best in life through the abundance of God’s salvation. His drive comes from his desire to help those in the Christian faith understand how to accept Jesus’ teachings and realize how truly blessed and deeply loved they are by their heavenly Father. Joel is an encourager, writer, and speaker. Tune in as we help you to leave adulting to non-believers and get you living again in child-like faith!
