The Victory of Khabib to the McGregor Camp Contempts the Religion of Islam at UFC 229

Exactly today, October 6, two years ago, an MMA fighter from Russia, Khabib Nurmagomedov, managed to silence Conor McGregor's arrogance at UFC 229.

The duel for the UFC lightweight world title belt which took place at the T-Mobile Arena, United States of America, took place with high tension which led to chaos.

McGregor, known as a fighter who likes to provoke the emotions of his rivals, has indeed acted arrogantly and provoked Khabib since the duel was planned. He also did a number of psywar on social media to ridicule and humiliate Khabib's camp.

Unfortunately, it's the action that proves everything. Khabib managed to embarrass The Notorious from the first round in millions of viewers around the world.

In the first round, Khabib Nurmagomedov was able to dominate the fight thanks to ground fighting which combined with locks and elbows, made it difficult for Conor McGregor to fight and only managed to survive.

Continuing in the second round of UFC 229, McGregor tried to attack his opponent with kicks, but was successfully pushed over and replied with a hard hook and slam to return to the bottom fight by The Eagle.

Khabib started going crazy and kept pressing his fierce opponent with hooks and elbows. Even though he was tough to put up a fight, surprisingly McGregor was able to get up before the end of the second round.

In the third round McGregor tried to reverse the position by doing a striking jab which was able to hit Khabib in the face. The fight over turned out to be quite difficult for Khabib, even though he had tried again to do a takedown, but was met with resistance from McGregor.

The duel heated up in the fourth round, despite starting an attack on Khabib, in fact McGregor was once again knocked down by his rival. Unable to escape Khabib's lockdown, Conor McGregor finally gave up after tapping out.

Finally, Khabib Nurmagomedov managed to defend the lightweight championship belt at UFC 229 through a submission decision thanks to the neck crank submission.
