Allow me to ask you all this my friends.

What does it mean for you to follow Jesus?

Interesting question, isn't it? I'm hoping it's something that you're thinking about right now, and that you're able to answer honestly to yourself. This question really challenged me, and I want to share some things that God showed me from His Word this morning, on what it truly means to follow Jesus, and I pray that what I share with you, will not only challenge you, but encourage and motivate you to take up your cross, and willingly follow Him. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it will both encourage and motivate you, to be willing to submit and surrender your whole life, including your physical self to God alone.

How is He asking you to sacrifice your life for Him?

My prayer for all of you, is that if God is calling you in a particular way to sacrifice yourself for Him, don’t be afraid to listen and obey! As Marvin stated, “Following Jesus means so much more than leaving a little piece of our lives behind.” It’s as Pastor Greg Laurie says, “The absolute truth for every Christian is that whatever you give up to follow Jesus will be more than made up to you in this life and in the life to come. It will be worth it all.” Most of all, it's about giving up to gain, and that's the best thing of all!
