MZTV 1184: Pastor Kent Does the Unthinkable at the Great Free Will Debate

October 25, 1997. Fairview, SC. The Great Free Will Debate between an experienced Scripture teacher and a young kid certain of the deity of God. The premise was written on the white board at the front of the church: "Man's Will Can Operate Independently of God." Pastor Ken had agreed to argue the affirmative of that premise. The kid, of course, would argue against it. (The kid was well aware of Scripture's insistence upon God's deity.)

7:00 pm. The kid was already seated at the table. All congregants waited for Kent. Here he came, slowly, up the north aisle. But when he saw the premise written on the board he stopped in his tracks, pointed his cane at the white board, and brought The Great Debate to a sudden and startling halt.
