Old-fashioned Doors and Horseshoe Hinges - The FHC Show, ep 24

In episode 24 of The Farm Hand's Companion Show, Pa Mac shows how to build and install old-fashioned wood doors for farm and homestead outbuildings. He also demonstrates how to make lumber for the door and door jambs without a sawmill, by splitting up a couple of logs with handtools, as well as constructing a simple wooden door latch. Then Pa Mac fires up his old coal blacksmith forge and turns regular old horseshoes into rustic hinges for his log chicken house door.Show more
