How to Burn Titanium Metal (Explosions&Fire response)

Inspired by Explosions&Fire's recent video. Titanium metal cannot be melted in an atmosphere containing oxygen (see refinement process required and how people work with Titanium metal). Heating does result in oxidation, if you start with a powder and heat it it begins to oxidise in a more "controlled" manner rather than just spitting flames everywhere.
