RPS Magician Throttle Assembly Replacement

For assured reliability I swapped out the bicycle cable repair I did in another video to new parts replacement although not OEM it did work and is now on the motorcycle. I would say that if you can get the "travel play" of the cable to 4.6 to 4.7 inches but if you can't find that 4.5 barely works as I had to use a plier to force the threaded end of the cable in to the throttle housing, I would prefer to have an adjustment but it is okay it works. The original OAL of the Magician was 39.75 inches I bought and used a 40 inch OAL with 4.5 inch travel. I couldn't find a cable to work with a threaded end of 8mm x 1.25mm the after market cables all seem to be 10mm x 1.25mm this forced me to buy a new throttle housing and a separate start switch. The wire colors for the starter switch is Black and Yellow/Red. The kill switch wire colors is Black/White and Green.

update: 10-10-2024 I just checked the condition of the throttle cable and it does not appear to be fraying at all. it seems i totally forgot to post what mileage when i did the conversion, oops my bad! anyway the mileage now is at 41k. i will keep updates how long this cable lasts
