Magician 250 motorcycle wheel truing indicator trick - wheel true stand how to DIY tool aide

This video is showing what i used as an indicator to help true my wheel when i don't have a wheel truing stand. this trick may help you out or maybe you just don't want to buy one hehe! i have gotten the wheel to about half a mm both radial and lateral run out (best i can do for my skill level). i will have an update to let you know if it is good enough.

disclaimer i am not a certified motorcycle mechanic and this video is not a tutorial of any sort. if in doubt consult a certified mechanic at an established motorcycle repair shop.

1-22-2022 Update: everything seems to be fine and i don't feel anything strange at high speed low speed or even coming to stop start. For me using this trick to help straighten my wheels will work out okay.
