A hearing regarding HB1610, a bill that would harm The Arkansas Freedom of Information Action (FOIA) was held in Arkansas Senate State Agencies Committee. Several people spoke against the bill that among other things allows government officials to have secret meetings on issues that effect We The People. HB1610 failed in committee thanks to political pressure from groups like ARTIGG and concerned citizens in Arkansas who used grassroots political pressure.
