High Lifter Disc Brake Conversion Kit For Honda Foreman

Took the time but I finally managed to get my hands on a High Lifter disc brake conversion kit. I'm not sponsored by them and thus can be objective about the product.

The kit includes Wilwood calipers, rotors, spacers, bolts and washers and everything else that's needed, even thread-lock.

Included installation manual is straightforward and there's no chance of misunderstanding anything.

The brake performance is superb compared to old drum brakes. But let's be honest, I didn't really maintain the drum brakes properly, thus the radical difference between original brakes and aftermarket product.

Installed set will fit really snug into the original 12" aluminum wheel so be careful not to leave the caliper rubbing against the rim - there's a slight amount of play in the mount plate. Bigger rims will solve that problem though.

One thing I didn't like was the surface finish on the rotors. It was really rough. Hopefully it will not wear the brake pads down quickly.

But all in all, I'm really happy with the conversion kit and will recommend it to anyone with an old Honda.
