Completing The Ceiling - Machine Shop Build Ep. 6

Turning a 200+ year old barn into a workshop. That's right - I looked it up, first time this place where I live officially mentioned as a manor was in 1747. Since it was a manor it had buildings alongside it, one of them was this dairy barn. Other buildings have decayed over decades and also the WW2 played quite a big role in it. Most of the walls are that old but of course the roof has been changed during the second part of the last century from wood shingle to fiber cement roof but according to my grandfather the ceiling beams in the barn should originate back to at least the beginning of the 20th century. So it is very old. I will do my best and keep this building together by means that are available for me. In this video I'm completing both the machine shop and the motogarage ceilings. In the next video I will build the one remaining wall in the end of the garage/corridor, make some doors and button this workshop up so I can try how many degrees I can get in it while heating it with the homemade wood stove. Thank you for watching and see you next Saturday!
