The Heritage Foundation FOIA-requested Prince Harry’s visa application

The Mail took a new attack on Prince Harry a few weeks back: his status as an American citizen. Fair enough, the Mail and the British media have been obsessed with the notion that America can deport Harry because he isn't white, Christian or rich. Harry has access to the top immigration lawyers in California and is likely already several years into his American naturalization process. Mail claims that Harry used drugs in Spare and therefore should be deported. The Mail has also convinced the Heritage Foundation, an American ultra-right-wing thinktank, to support their delusions. To get Harry's visa application, the Heritage Foundation has filed a Freedom of Information Act Request. It's just not how it works. It's not possible to FOIA anyone and get a visa application from them. Prince Harry was urged to be transparent and provide details about his US visa application. Otherwise, he could become a political pawn over his drug abuse. The US immigration authorities have until April 12, to respond to a Freedom of Information request (FoI), filed by an American think-tank. This request seeks to find out how the Duke of Sussex was permitted to enter the USA after he openly admitted to using marijuana and magic mushrooms in the past. Republicans will attack President Joe Biden's lax border control policies. This is likely to be the biggest issue in the 2024 presidential election. There are also fears that Harry's friendships and connections with prominent Democratic Party figures like former president Barack Obama, major Democratic donors such as Oprah Winfrey or Tyler Perry could lead to him becoming an 'unwitting player in a highly politicized game'. In an exclusive interview on Sunday with The Mail, Samuel Dewey, a senior lawyer at conservative think-tank Heritage Foundation, stated that it was in the public's interest to find out how Prince Harry answered the drug question. If he is honest about his drug use (and there is no reason for us to believe that he hasn't), it could be that he answered the question "yes". In which case, he would require a waiver in order to be allowed to enter the USA. He would have to have been interviewed in person, and someone would have to grant him a waiver. We're simply asking for the name of the person who granted this waiver. Dewey said that a person's admission to using drugs does not automatically make them banned forever. A waiver process is available and many people can get one on a case by case basis. Who authorized the waiver given to Prince Harry? Did the protocol follow? It is something that the American people should know. There is no evidence Prince Harry was wrong. He may not have known of any political strings that were pulled, even if he was granted waiver. There is the possibility that he may become a political pawn by becoming an unwitting pawn on an issue that has become a hot potato. According to reports in the USA, Harry may have been admitted under an "O" visa. This visa is granted to individuals with extraordinary abilities. [From The Daily Mail] The visa application asks about drug abusers and drug addicts. In the past, he has taken drugs recreationally. This is what he wrote in his best-selling memoir. He has never been charged with a drug offense. He wouldn't need a waiver. Even if he did, it wouldn't be of the Heritage Foundation's business. Harry's visa application is not in the public's best interest. They will be surprised at how many conservative Americans believe Harry to be "the good type" of immigrant if the "immigrants want to take you and eat all your brains" crowd thinks.
