Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi is a live-action television series currently being developed by Lucasfilm. It is set to air on Disney's new online streaming service, Disney+. The series will feature Ewan McGregor reprising his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi from the Star Wars prequel trilogy. It will take place ten years after Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. On December 10, 2020, it was announced that Hayden Christensen would be reprising his role as Darth Vader in the series. Deborah Chow has been tapped to direct the new Obi-Wan Kenobi series, which takes place eight years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and before Star Wars: A New Hope.
