Irene and Tony Isaacson are a dynamic duo, a husband-and-wife team, who share a lifelong passion for global travel especially wildlife adventures, voluntourism, and environmental conservation. Together they have travelled across all seven continents and love to share their experiences as avid digital storytellers.

They were recently invited to become 60 Plus Influencers and are now one of the most active and popular Influencers on Facebook's PlayGround of the 60 Plus and 60 Plus PlayGroup.

About Irene:
In her retirement as a Medical Specialist of 30 years, Irene enjoys exploring her creative side through travel, landscape, and wildlife photography. Many of her images can be seen on her website www.ireneisaacsonphotography.com or on Instagram, as well as over 250 wildlife and travel videos on YouTube.

As an amateur photojournalist, Irene has worked with Tourism Queensland, Tourism SA, and Wildlife Tourism Australia. Many of her articles can be seen on Travel2Next.com.

About Tony:
Tony, on the other hand, is a retired marine science teacher and avid lifelong scuba diver. Not just a PADI Dive Instructor, he is also an Aware Shark Specialty and Rescue Diver.

Whilst regularly posting as DiveCareDare on Facebook and YouTube as an advocate for sharks, their sustainability, and ecotourism, he has also been an invited local shark expert on mainstream media including TV news and radio stations such as ABC.

His community-based environmental work earned him both Lifetime Achievement and People’s Choice Awards for Shark Advocacy, in the 2017 Healthy Land & Water Awards.

Tony shares his underwater marine life experiences and interactions through more than 100 videos on his YouTube channel. With over 5 million views, Irene and Tony hope to increase public awareness of the world around us, and in return promote the conservation of its environment.

On a mission to make a difference, they share the same motto (adapted from Baba Dioum, 1968):

"In the end, we conserve only what we love, we love only what we understand, and we understand only what we can learn."

With a particular love of experiencing all manner of wildlife interactions, Irene is an active volunteer and member of many global wildlife organizations. These include Not-For-Profit organizations, many of which benefit from regular donations from her photography business profits.
