Fetterman Opens Up About His Battle With Depression

In an interview with CBS's Jane Pauley, Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) opened up about his battle with depression. Fetterman, who won one of the biggest Senate races in the country in 2022, described how he was unable to find joy from his victory due to his depression.

Fetterman said that he started to feel depressed after the election, and that his symptoms worsened over time. He said that he felt "numb" and "like I was in a fog." He also said that he had trouble sleeping and eating.

Fetterman said that he eventually decided to seek help, and that he is now in treatment for his depression. He said that he is "feeling much better" and that he is "grateful" for the support of his family and friends.
