Agua de Jamaica (Hibiscus) Recipe

This Agua de Jamaica is a very refreshing Drink. The Hibiscus tea can be enjoyed warm or the way we serve it cold over ice.

Agua de Jamaica

Ingredients:
8 cups Water,
2 cups Flor de Jamaica (dried Hibiscus flowers),
1 cup Raw Cane Sugar (more or less optional),
1 Cinnamon Stick,

Pour 4 cups of hot Water over Flor de Jamaica and a Cinnamon Stick, simmer on low for 10 Minutes.
Remove from heat and add the Sugar, stir until the Sugar is dissolved & cool.
Pour cooled concentrate into a large Pitcher, add 4 cups of cold Water stir & refrigerate.
(add more Water or Sugar to taste)
Serve over ice.
Enjoy!
