Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated is reporting that there hasn’t been much traction on a potential deal, and that it’s possible Jackson will still be a Raven after the 2023 NFL Draft. If this happens, teams might be more aggressive pursuing Jackson offering their 2024 and 2025 1st round picks.
- Could an Aaron Rodgers trade to the Jets happen soon? Breer is also reporting that a trade is expected to happen before the NFL Draft, and may even happen before team activities begin in 2 weeks.
- Meanwhile, DeAndre Hopkins could be cut, per Breer, instead of traded. The Cardinals WR has been in NFL trade rumors in recent weeks.
- The Cardinals could be trading back out of #3 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft, with the Tennessee Titans and Las Vegas Raiders emerging as teams that could move up for a quarterback.Show more

“There’s a possibility that there’s a team or teams lurking with high-first-round picks that may not love this year’s class of draft-eligible quarterbacks, that may not want to give up a high-first-rounder to get Jackson, that could see a far more enticing window to try and poach Jackson post-draft. At that point, another team would be giving up its 2024 and ’25 first-rounders to get Jackson, and, theoretically, such a team would probably think, with Jackson at quarterback, those first-rounders would land somewhere in the 20s, well below where their pick this year might be.”
