Multi-Day Severe Weather with Tornado Outbreak Possible -Great Lakes Weather

The threat for severe weather will span across the Great Lakes Region over the next 48-72 hours. A strong cold front will interact with a volatile atmosphere to produce another tornado outbreak out west. Some of these storms may surge into Western Michigan and Indiana, though some storms will lose their energy due to the stable layer formed by lake temperatures. New convective initiation associated with the same cold front could fuel more severe weather on Wednesday over Ohio and eastern Michigan, though cloud cover may hamper instability and reduce the intensity of storm development.
