This gets me fired up because when people use words foolishly and flippantly, they hurt their own cause. I believe I understand the day to have been meant to be about celebrating the normalization of the Trans movement in light of abuse and discrimination that trans individuals may have experienced in their lives. Using "vengeance", while maybe emotionally satisfying, is straightforwardly foolish, and I wish people of all stripes would knock it off.
