According to an announcement from Chelsea, Bruno Saltor will take over from Graham Potter on a temporary basis. The 43-year-old Spaniard is revered at Brighton, having spent seven years there and leading the team as captain to the Premier League.

Saltor retired in 2019 and subsequently joined Graham Potter's coaching team at the club, where he remained until September 2022 when he followed Potter to Chelsea. As per the club's statement, Saltor is expected to lead the team for the rest of the season, including the upcoming Champions League quarter-final.
