Yeast and the Bread of Life

Yeast or Leavening is a wonderful ingredient for making bread... In the Gospel of John Jesus states that He is the Bread of Life... In Matthew Jesus even compares the Kingdom of Heaven as woman who put yeast in sacks of flour for bread... Then Jesus a few chapters later in Matthew warns the disciples of the yeast of the Pharisees...

Yeast is basically fungus spores that are very small that are in the air all around us. In the same way so are the evil spirits that are around us as well... The spirit of religion grouped along with spirits of hypocrisy, spiritual pride and self-righteousness is the yeast or leaven of the Pharisees... As when making different breads, yeast either makes the bread or destroys it. For dinner rolls or a nice fluffy loaf, the right amount and type of yeast causes the dough to rise and sweetens the flavor. Yet when you are making say a flat bread, light and fluffy is not what you are wanting...

As Jesus has spoken, yeast or leavening is a most wonderful ingredient in bread, or this ingredient can be disastrous... The spirits of religion are in total opposition of the Kingdom of Heaven...
