After reading the Burton Watson Translation of this Chapter I read the "Orally Transmitted Teaching" explanation of that chapter. The Orally Transmitted Teaching are the notes taken by Nikko Shonin the 2nd High Priest of Nichiren Buddhism that he took in the last days of NIchiren's Life when Nichiren was preaching the Lotus Sutra Chapter by Chapter to Nikko and the other monks on Mt. Minobu.
