Atlanta officer arrest suspect when responded to a suspicious male entering a vehicle

On 2/28/23, officers responded to 332 4TH ST NE in reference to a suspicious male entering a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a female witness, who stated she was sitting on her porch and witnessed a male enter and rummage through a vehicle that did not belong to him.

The male continued to yell obscenities towards the witness as he went through the victim’s vehicle. The witness immediately contacted police and provided a description and direction of travel of the suspect. Arriving officers canvassed the area, located the suspect, and detained him immediately.

The suspect was identified as, Ishmael Murillo. He was arrested and charged with Entering Auto and was transported to the Fulton County Jail without incident. Great work to Zone 6 for arriving at the call in a timely manner, locating and arresting the suspect without incident.
