Psalm 71: Of Troubles and Being of Good Cheer

To help you hear the prayerfulness of the Psalms, here is a Monday Morning Psalm just for you.

Can I just say that, once again, I have been pleasantly surprised to find in the Psalms a most excellent example of a teaching of Jesus? One from Jesus and one from James. Jesus teaches that while having troubles, we should be of good cheer (John 16:33). And the one from James is that trials should be considered pure joy as they help produce spiritual maturity and complete our faith, (James 1:2). Where do I find this here? Well….
