Millions expected to lose coverage as states now allowed to trim Medicaid rolls

Congress barred states from trimming Medicaid rolls since the beginning of the pandemic but that restriction ended on Saturday. States including Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, New Hampshire, and South Dakota will reportedly move quickly to eliminate those deemed ineligible for Medicaid.
